Director General of National Museum of Science and Technology (NMST) Munir Chowdhury said the invention of science and technology should be for practical application, but not for only showcasing.

Munir Chowdhury said this while visiting a robotics fair at Lohagara in Chattogram on Saturday.

“The science and technology is not only for exhibition. This will have to be used for the development of the way of life, protection of environment, food safety and application of laws,” he said.

“The invention of young scientists should be in practical use through research,” he said.

The robotics fair was arranged by Lohagara Upazila administration with the financial support of NMST.

About 50 robots were exhibited in the fair while a large number of visitors attend the event.
