CWAB comes ahead with financial aid

Cricketers’ Welfare Association of Bangladesh (CWAB) provided monetary assistance of Tk 17,00,300 to the country’s 396 former and current cricketers, coaches and other staff including organisers, scorers, umpires, groundsmen, all of whom are financially insolvent and have been struggling to earn their daily bread amid the lockdown in the wake of pandemic coronavirus outbreak

The association also distributed foods among 600 vulnerable families at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur under the banner titled ‘CWAB’s efforts amid corona crisis’ on Sunday.

CWAB President Naimur Rahman Durjoy, Vice-president Khaled Mahmud Shujon, Athar Ali Khan, Habibul Bashar Sumon, Sanwar Hossain, Salim Shahed and other members were present on the occasion.
