CHATTOGRAM: Chittagong Port Authority (CPA) Chairman Rear Admiral M Shahjahan said the officials, employees and workers of the country’s premier seaport are working relentlessly to keep the supply chain uninterrupted.

Activities are going on round-the-clock following the directive of the Prime Minister under the supervision of state minister for shipping, he said.

The CPA chairman said these while addressing a rally organised on the occasion of the 134th founding anniversary of the port in front of the Bandar Bhaban in the city on Sunday. He also called upon the workers to continue their efforts maintaining health safety measures to keep the wheels of the country’s economy moving.

Earlier, the CPA Chairman Shahjahan and Member (Admin) Zafar Alam hoisted the national and port flags respectively marking the anniversary.
