Walton, the country’s leading electrical, electronic goods and automobiles manufacturing company, has become the title sponsor of the Bangabandhu T20 Cup.
The official name of the tournament is ‘Bangabandhu T20 Cup Sponsored by Walton.’ The much-anticipated Bangabandhu T20 Cup is being organised for the first time with local cricketers only. The tournament will mark the birth centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.An agreement on sponsorship was signed between K-Sports and Walton on Sunday. Walton Group Executive Director Uday Hakim and K-Sports Director Ashfaq Ahmed signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations.
The tournament will start on November 24 and will end on December 16 at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur. All matches will be broadcast live on Bangladesh Television and T- Sports.
T- Sports, the first sports channel in Bangladesh, got the media rights for upcoming Bangabandhu T20 tournament. T- Sports, a sister concern of Basundhara Group, launched the first ever sports channel in the country with an aim to offer its viewers with all kinds of sports in Bangladesh and all over the world.
