The National Technical Advisory Committee on COVID-19 has advised the government to stop movement of people from, Dhaka, Narayanganj, Gazipur and Chattagram to other places during holiday of Eid-ul-Azha, in a bid to check further transmission of the coronavirus in the country.

The committee came up with the advice at its 14th meeting held on Friday through online.

The committee also advised not to set up any market of sacrificial animal in Dhaka, Narayanganj, Gazipur and Chattagram cities ahead of Eid-ul-Azha.

Members of the committee also expressed concern that though the spread of COVID-19 didn’t come under control yet but people are moving freely in different areas including the Dhaka city.
