Bangladesh Cricket Boards (BCB) two foreign curators Gamini de Silva and Praveen Hinganikar have recently returned home.

Three foreign curators of BCB have been stationed in Bangladesh since the beginning of the coronavirus infection but now two curators went back to their home on a holiday.

Gamini, the curator of Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in the capital, went to Sri Lanka while Praveen, who is in charge of Chattogram grounds, left Dhaka for India nearly a week ago.

BCB Grounds Manager Syed Abdul Baten said that the two foreign curators have gone to home on a routine holiday to spend time with their families and they will return to Dhaka as soon as they get the call from BCB.

“They went on holiday a few days ago. We don't even have foreign coaches now. Now, there is not much work to be done. They will come back when everything resumes,” Baten said.

Meanwhile, even though there are no curators, groundsmen are working in Mirpur and Chattogram as they are watering the field and cutting the grass.

Another Indian curator, Sanjeev Agarwal, remained in Sylhet despite other two curators going on leave.
