BNP inaugurates month-long video competition centred on ex-president Ziaur Rahman

In observance of “National Revolution and Solidarity Day 2025,” Jatiyatabader Pathshala and 7th November Projonmo (7th November Generation) have jointly organised a month-long video content creation competition centred on former president Ziaur Rahman.

The event is being held with the overall cooperation of Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal.

The competition was formally inaugurated on Thursday at a ceremony held in the Seminar Room of the BNP Party Office in the city.

Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, senior joint secretary general of the BNP, attended the event as the chief guest and officially inaugurated the competition.

Among others who spoke at the event were Abdus Salam Azad, joint secretary general, BNP, Selim Bhuiyan, convener of 7th November Projonmo, and organising secretary of BNP, Cumilla Division, Nurul Huda Babu, acting convener of Jatiyatabader Pathshala and joint general secretary of the Jatiyo Swechchhasebak Dal, Yasir Wardad Tonmoy, member secretary of 7th November Projonmo and journalist, former JCD joint secretary Shamsul Alam Rana,  Former JCD leader Solayman Kabir, Former JCD joint secretary Mohammad Abul Bashar, JCD Communication Secretary Md Arif Hasan and others.

The organisers told that this competition offers a golden opportunity to creatively bring to life the unknown stories, historical narratives, and inspirational events of the life of president Ziaur Rahman, the proclaimer of Independence and the architect of Modern Bangladesh, through the camera lens.

All creative storytellers, video content creators, and docu-fiction directors from the 64 districts of the country are sincerely requested to participate in this grand competition.

Through this initiative, 101 best content creators will be awarded prizes from 64 districts and 495 sub-districts across the country.

Additionally, the two organising bodies aim to create 1,000 content creators through this programme.
