Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) Mayor Mohammad Sayeed Khokon on Tuesday distributed everyday necessities among 800 low-income people in front of High Court mazar in the capital.
Requesting all to stay at home, the mayor said it is now dangerous to go outside. So everyone should maintain social distancing to evade the risk of being infected with coronavirus, he said, adding that the food aid for the impoverished will continue.Among others, councillor Farid Uddin Ratan, DSCC chief executive officer Shah Md Imdadul Huq and secretary Mostafa Kamal Majumdar were present on the occasion.
