Spl platform launched in Shenzhen to attract Chinese investment

In order to increase Chinese investment in Bangladesh, the second China-Bangladesh Cooperatiion seminar took place in Shenzhen Stock Exchange in China recently.

Organisers also announced a specialized platform in Shenzhen, China on Saturday to inspire Chinese investors in promising business sectors in the country.

Business leaders launched the ‘Bangladesh V-Next’ platform at an international conference held at Shenzhen Stock Exchange in China.

With the help of this platform Chinese investors’ will get to know more about Bangladesh and can identify the suitable sectors to invest into, according to officials.

Shenzhen Stock Exchange is the world’s eighth largest stock exchange comprising of more than 2,500 billion dollars’ worth capital.

A discussion meeting titled Riding the Digital Wave in Bangladesh’ focusing on the potentialities of information and communication technology sector was held at the conference.

Government’s Leveraging ICT Project Director Rezaul Karim and Component team leader Sami Ahmed took part in panel discussion while Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services (BASIS) President Syed Almas Kabir presided over the session.
