Bangladesh has made history by qualifying for the final round of the ITF World Junior Tennis Championship (U-14) for the first time.
Competing in the Asia regional qualifiers in Bahrain, Bangladesh secured their spot with a commanding 2-0 victory over Hong Kong in the quarterfinals on Thursday.
This triumph not only propelled them into the semifinals of the 21-team tournament but also confirmed their place among the top four teams advancing to the final round, which will be held in the Czech Republic from August 4 to 9.
Additionally, Bangladesh recorded their best-ever group stage performance, finishing in the top eight after a 2-0 win over Saudi Arabia and a dominant 3-0 victory against Nepal.
