Former director general of DGHS Nurul Anwar dies from Covid-19

AKM Nurul Anwar, former director-general of health department and renowned professor of pharmacology, died of coronavirus infection at a hospital in the capital on Sunday noon.
He breathed his last at Anwar Khan Modern Medical College Hospital while undergoing treatment at around 12:30 pm.
Joint Secretary of Foundation for Doctors Safety Rights and Responsibility (FDSR) Dr Rahat Anwar Chowdhury confirmed the matter to media.
Nurul Anwar was the former professor & HOD of Pharmacology at Chattogram Medical College Hospital (CMCH) and former principal and HOD of Pharmacology at Ibrahim Medical College.
With this, 61 doctors have died of Covid-19 in the country so far and eight more had died with coronavirus symptoms, Dr Rahat Anwar Chowdhury said.
