Awami League (AL) General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader on Tuesday warned that none will be escaped legal actions for hiking prices of onion-salt-rice creating an artificial crisis.
The minister also mentioned that those who are plotting to hike the salt price by spreading rumors would be brought to book.Obaidul Quader also the Road Transport and Bridges Minister came up with this warning at a press conference this evening at Prime Minister and AL President Sheikh Hasina’s Dhanmondi political office in the city.
“There is no shortage of salt and rice in the country. Those who have created a crisis by spreading rumors have been kept under surveillance,” he said.
Quader said a vested quarter is hatching conspiracy in a planned way over the salt after the onion issue.
The plotters want to achieve political goals and want an interim election, he said.
