Sohel Taj’s nephew allegedly abducted

A nephew of former state minister for home Tanjim Ahmed Sohel Taj was reportedly picked up by some people from Chittagong Medical College and Hospital area on June 9.

The victim was identified as Syed Iftekhar Alam (Sowrav).

Sohel Taj brought the allegation of abduction in a post uploaded on his verified Facebook page at around 1:00am on Saturday.

Taj, son of the country's first Prime Minister Tajuddin Ahmad, also uploaded a photo of Iftekhar with the post.

“Syed Iftekhar Alam (Sowrav), one of my nephews (son of my cousin) was abducted on June 9 from Chittagong Medical College and Hospital area. I am requesting the people who are involved with the incident to returns Sowrav to his family. Otherwise, your identities will be unveiled to people as we know that who might be behind the incident,” Sohel Taj wrote on his verified Facebook page.
