Rangpur Riders spend a ‘unique day’ with specially abled children

Rangpur Riders players, officials and coaching staff spent a unique day with the students of the Bashundhara Special Child School at the Bashundhara Riverview Project in South Keraniganj on Thursday.
Rangpur skipper Nurul Hasan Sohan along with the other players of the squad Mominul Haque, Shamim Hossain, Imran Tahir, Jimmy Neesham, Brandon King, Dwaine Pretorius and Tom Moores met the specially abled children of the school in the morning while they also enjoyed the cultural programme organised and performed by the students.
Rangpur team Director Shanian Taneem, Advisor Mehrab Alam Chowdhury, Spin Bowling Coach Mohammad Rafique and Fielding Coach Fahim Alam were also present on the occasion.
During the cultural programme, the specially abled children performed in different types of segments including a song on Language Martyrs, a special dance on Rangpur’s theme song and a short drama.
Apart from enjoying their performance, the Rangpur family also observed the facilities, service and teaching methods of the school.
Rangpur have already finished their league stage campaign of the ongoing BPL 2024 after they earned 18 points from 12 games and they will face Comilla Victorians in the first qualifier in Mirpur on 26 February.
