CHATTOGRAM: A lawyer died of heart attack while examining a witness at Chattogram court on Wednesday.

He was identified as Jubairul Haque, 45, hailed from Chakoria upazila in the district.

Jubairul Haque suddenly fell on the floor while he was examining a witness at the court of 2nd Additional Chattogram Metropolitan Session Judge Md Amirul Islam, Chattogram District Bar Association Information and Technology Secretary Ali Ahmed said.

Immediately, he was rushed to a nearby private hospital where the attending doctors declared Jubairul dead, he added.

Quoting the doctors, Ali Ahmad said, Jubairul died of sudden heart failure.
