Dhaka International Trade Fair (DITF) 2023 will reflect the success stories of the country’s mega development projects as well as the glorious history of the independence struggle led by Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is expected to formally inaugurate the second edition of the mega trade show on January 1, 2023 at Bangladesh-China Friendship Exhibition Centre in Purbachal, the outskirts of the capital.
Businesses from different countries including Bangladesh, India, Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore, Hong Kong and Turkey will participate in the fair in-person. Besides, participants from China, Pakistan, Iran, Vietnam, Maldives and Malaysia will join virtually.
There will be 331 stalls including 54 pavilions at the fair organised by Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) under the Ministry of Commerce.
The in-hall cafeteria has capacity to accommodate 500 participants at a time while 23 food corners will serve dishes inside the fair.
Dutch Bangla Bank, Islami Bank Bangladesh, Janata Bank and Mercantile Bank will provide financial services at the fair.
Four teams will conduct a mobile court at the DITF for ensuring security and management of the fair while significant numbers of closed circuit cameras will keep real time monitoring.
