State Bank of India (SBI) has been re-engaged as the agent for managing Indian Visa Application Centres (IVAC) in Bangladesh for another two years, said a press release.

On this occasion, a signing ceremony was held between High Commission of India (HCI) and SBI at IVAC Dhaka at Jamuna Future Park on Wednesday.

High Commissioner of India to Bangladesh Vikram K Doraiswami presided over the event while Deputy High Commissioner of India to Bangladesh Dr Binoy George and Country Head of SBI Bangladesh Operation Amit Kumar signed a document on behalf of their respective sides. The event was attended by officials of HCI and SBI.

Besides, a priority lounge was also inaugurated at IVAC Dhaka by the high commissioner.
