The Bangladesh Football Federation President Kazi Salahuddin wanted more national team successes from the newly appointed head coach Javier Cabrera.
Salahuddin talked with the new coach at the BFF House on Monday after Cabrera made a short visit after testing negative for Covid-19.
Salahuddin claimed that they had no issue with the coach’s zero experience of working with the national team.
“I and Nabil brought the coach after getting all the proper information about him. We never got anyone who has previous coaching experience in the national team except Tom (Tom Saintfiet in 2016). Tom had the national team experience before taking charge here,” he said.
“This is a good place for them. If they do well here, their career improves. Also, it is a big pride to take charge of the national team. We are looking forward to it. Let not discuss the past,” the BFF chief ended.
