MP Moslem smells a rat

CHATTOGRAM: Lawmaker Moslem Uddin Ahmed has denied the bribery allegation against him by a Juba League leader.

He believes there is a secret agenda behind the incident, centring on getting nomination for the membership of parliament in the next general elections. 

Moslem, also the president of Awami League (AL) Chattogram South district unit, made the denial of the allegation at a press conference at Bangabandhu Hall of Chattogram Press Club on Wednesday.

Mentionable, Juba League Chattogram South district unit Assistant Law Affairs Secretary and Additional Public Prosecutor of Chattogram Judge Court Kamal Uddin in a facebook status on January 6 brought allegation of giving Tk 15 lakh to Moslem for managing the party nomination in the upcoming UP polls.
