Bangladeshi police action thriller movie ‘Mission Extreme’ has been released in three more European countries.

The Arifin Shuvoo starrer movie was released in the United Kingdom, Scotland and Ireland on Friday, reports UNB. 

Sunny Sanwar, one of the two directors of the film, confirmed the matter to the media. He said, “The popularity of our cinema in foreign countries is increasing day by day, and that is definitely a great news for everyone. With this, having further access to the possibility of the international film market has been created.”

According to Rivery Film, a UK and Europe distributor, a total of six shows of 'Mission Extreme' will be screened at Cineworld Cinemas in 10 cities across the three countries.

After being delayed by two years due to corona pandemic, the first episode of the much-awaited movie was released on December 3. Alongside Bangladesh, the film was released in theatres of eight countries in the world.  

Directed by Sunny Sanwar and Faisal Ahmed, popular actors Arifin Shuvoo, Jannatul Ferdous Oishee, Taskin Rahman, Sadia Nabila, Sumit Sengupta, Raisul Islam Asad, Fazlur Rahman Babu, Shatabdi Wadud, Maznun Mizan, Iresh Zaker and others have played important roles in the movie.

The story and screenplay were written by Sunny Sanwar himself. The film is produced by Cop Creation, in association with Mime Multimedia and Dhaka Detective Club.

Earlier, the film was scheduled to be released in 2020 on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr but was postponed due to the corona situation in the country. It was rescheduled for a 2021 Eid release, but again pandemic prevented it.

Mission Extreme is a two-part film.  Earlier, the makers of the film announced that the second part will be released a couple of months after the release of the first part.
