Jnr Tigers leave for Kolkata

Bangladesh national Under-19 cricket team left Dhaka for Kolkata on Tuesday to take part in a triangular ODI series involving Bangladesh U-19, U-19 A and India U-19 B.

The tournament will be held in Kolkata from November 28 to December 7.

Bangladesh will start its campaign against U-19 A on November 29 while on December 1 the tourists will take on India U-19 B. India formed two Under-19 teams as they didn’t have enough time to practice ahead of the next World Cup and they are likely to form their main squad after concluding the ODI series.

The next two games of the tourists are scheduled respectively on December 2 and 4 while the final of the tournament will be played on December 7. Bangladesh team will return home on the following day.

Bangladesh U-19 squad: Mahfijul Islam Robin, Iftakhar Hossain Ifti, Prantik Nawrose Nabil, SM Meherob Hasan, Aich Mollah, Abdullah Al Mamun, Gazi Md Tahjibul Islam, Ariful Islam, Musfik Hasan, Ripon Mondol, Ashiqur Zaman, Tazim Hasan Sakib, Rakibul Hasan, Naimur Rohman Noyon, Jishan Alam and Md Fahim.
