Badhon, Tahsan to share screen in ‘A Blessed Man’

Popular actor Azmeri Haque Badhon and singer-turned-actor Tahsan Khan will share the screen in British-Bangladeshi director Sadik Ahmed’s new film ‘A Blessed Man’.

Rehana Maryam Noor-famed actor Badhon announced the news about her upcoming film on a Facebook live on Sunday.

She said, “I will play a lead role in Sadik Ahmed’s film ‘A Blessed Man’. I like the storyline and I love my character in the film.”

“Produced by Apple box, the film features a collaboration of creative writer and production designer. I’m losing weight to fulfill the requirement of the character in my upcoming project,” she added.

The shooting of the film ‘A Blessed Man’ will begin soon.

Azmeri Haque Badhon is a popular actor of the country. She made her film debut with the film ‘Nijhum Oronney’ in 2010. She has appeared in a number of TV dramas as well. She gained huge praise from national and international media for her deeply affecting central performance at Rehana Maryam Noor, the first officially selected Bangladeshi film in the ‘Un Certain Regard’ section of the 74th Cannes Film Festival. She won the 14th Asia Pacific Screen Awards (APSA) in ‘Best Actress’ category for this film. She also won the Hong Kong Asian Film Festival (HKAFF) award in the New Talent category for the film.

Tahsan Rahman Khan is a singer, songwriter, composer, model and actor of the country. Tahsan first started his music career with the music band Black. He later left the band and started solo music career with the release of the album Kothopokothon. He later started to act on television. His debut film was ‘Jodi Ekdin’ (2019). Tahsan will also be seen in Mostofa Sarwar Farooki’s upcoming venture ‘No Land’s Man’.
