4th Indo-Bangladesh cycling expedition begins
Major General Md Nurul Anwar, GOC of 55 Infantry Division and Area Commander in Jashore, inaugurates ‘4th joint Indo-Bangladesh Cycling Expedition 2021’ by releasing balloons at Osmani Stadium in Jashore on Monday.

The fourth joint Indo-Bangladesh Cycling Expedition was flagged off by Major General Md Nurul Anwar, GOC of 55 Infantry Division of Bangladesh Army at Osmani Stadium in Jashore on Monday.

A total of 30 skilled officers and junior commissioned officers of Bangladesh and Indian Army are taking part in the cycling expedition.

The expedition will cover 197km in Bangladesh and pass Jashore, Jhenaidah, Kushtia, Meherpur and Darshana.

The team will enter India through the Darshana land port on November 19 and travel Krishnanagar, Ranaghat and Kalyani in West Bengal before reaching their final destination in Kolkata on November 24, covering 181km of route.
