Virtual symposium on B-JET held

A kick-off symposium on Bangladesh-Japan ICT Engineers Training Program (B-JET), a professional training program funded by JICA, was held virtually on Saturday between North South University (NSU) and Miyazaki University of Japan. 

The eight months training will facilitate 80 Bangladeshi engineers each year. The first five months training will take place in Bangladesh and the last remaining months in Japan.

President of University of Miyazaki Dr Tsuyomu Ikenoue, representative Executive Director of SHINKOSHUPPANSHA KEIRINKAN CO LTD Kayoko Kitagawa and Director of Career and Placement Center of NSU Prof Mohammad Khasro Miah took part in the event.

Earlier in February this year, a memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed among Bangladesh Computer Council (BCC), North South University (NSU), and the University of Miyazaki (UoM), Japan to expand career opportunity for Bangladeshi ICT engineers in Japan.
