Another Oxygen Express of Indian Railways has embarked on its journey to Bangladesh carrying a second tranche of 200mt of Liquid Medical Oxygen (LMO) to help address respiratory distress.
On July 27, a train carrying 200mt LMO in 10 containers (20mt each) departed for Bangladesh from Tatanagar, Jharkhand in India.
With this, India reaffirmed its commitment to continue to support Bangladesh in its fight against the pandemic.
Earlier, 200 tonnes of liquid medical oxygen carrying train reached Sirajganj on Sunday.
The oxygen will be supplied to the hospitals for the treatment of Covid-19 patients.
The oxygen express, introduced by the Indian railway services to meet the oxygen crisis in different states across India.
