PIB Director General and BJWT Managing Director Zafar Wazed addressed the meeting virtually saying Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is media-friendly and she has brought most of the professional bodies including journalists under financial support as part of her relentless efforts to deal with the Covid-19 pandemic situation.

He also said development programmes have started becoming visible throughout the country and urged the journalists to highlight the development and successes of the government through their objective reporting.

Zafar Wazed said this financial assistance will contribute a lot towards improving the level of confidence of the working journalists while the Premier stands beside them by enhancing her helping hand.
