DGHS driver indicted in arms case

A Dhaka court on Thursday framed charges against driver of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) Abdul Malek in an arms case.

Abdul Malek pleaded not guilty and demand justice when Dhaka Metropolitan Sessions Judge K M Imrul Kayesh framed charges against him, reports UNB.

Earlier on January 11, Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) submitted a chargesheet in the case.

Rab members arrested Malek from Turag area in the city on September 20, 2020 for extortion and running illegal firearms trade in Turag thana area.
