Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) and Bangladesh Embassy in South Korea jointly organised a training for the non-resident Bangladeshis staying in South Korea to skilling them up to become entrepreneur.
Ambassador of Bangladesh in Seoul, South Korea Abida Islam, Director General, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bangladesh F M Borhan Uddin, Managing Director of Bangladesh Overseas Employment and Services Ltd Md Saiful Hasan Badal and DCCI President Rizwan Rahman attended the two-day long training course that ended on Sunday.Ambassador of Bangladesh in Seoul Abida Islam said NRBs are contributing a lot in building Bangladesh and demand of Bangladeshi skilled work force is increasing day by day globally.
“Skills upgrade the workers and make them up-to-date that helps them more competitive to earn more. Training on entrepreneurship development will increase their self-confidence,” Abida Islam added.
F M Borhan Uddin said that in the wake of 4th industrial revolution NRBs will help country through technology transfer.
He suggested the NRBs to be skilled and use those skills for the development of the country while returning to the country.
Md. Saiful Hasan Badal, Managing Director (Additional Secretary), Bangladesh Overseas Employment and Services Ltd. said
“we have a good demand of Bangladesh’s skilled workers worldwide. Accordingly, we want to send skilled workforce as directed by the Prime Minister”, said Bangladesh Overseas Employment and Services Ltd managing director.Md. Saiful Hasan Badal also requested the NRBs to uphold the positive image of Bangladesh in the world arena.
DCCI President Rizwan Rahman said that the remittance fighters of Bangladesh working abroad are contributing a lot in the development of our economy.
The purpose of this training course is to train and motivate the NRBs to become entrepreneur while they return to Bangladesh.
