28 primary schools get facelift in Muktagacha

MYMENSINGH: Infrastructure development works of 28 Government Primary Schools have been progressing fast in Muktagacha upazila of the district, reports BSS.

Local Government Engineering Department (LGED) is implementing the project at a cost of TK over 28 crore , Muktagacha Upazila Engineer Oshit Baran Deb told the agency. LGED has been implementing the infrastructure development works in 28 primary schools under three projects.

Of them, 12 schools under Need Based Infrastructure Development of Government Primary School (NBIDGPS), nine schools under Need Based Infrastructure Development of Newly Nationalist Government Primary School project (NBIDNNGPS) and seven schools under Primary Education Development Programme (PEDP).

The projects include infrastructure development, repairing, reconstruction and other related works, the sources said.

According to project sources, 50% works of the projects have already been completed and the rest of the work is likely to be completed by December.
