Bangladesh, Nigeria sign MoU on bilateral cooperation

Bangladesh and Nigeria vowed to work closely to steer bilateral cooperation between the two friendly countries and agreed to explore the untapped potential in political, economic, cultural and educational areas.

Top diplomats of the two countries also proposed to establish meaningful collaborative relationship between the two countries.

To foster enhanced cooperation, Bangladesh and Nigeria signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on the Establishment of Bilateral Consultations between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bangladesh and Nigeria on a zoom platform on Monday. 

Foreign Secretary of Bangladesh Masud Bin Momen and Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Nigeria Mustapha Lawal Sulaiman signed the instrument on behalf of their respective ministries.

Md. Shameem Ahsan, Bangladesh High Commissioner to Nigeria made welcome remarks and conducted the digital event.
