DNCRP conducts drives across country

The Directorate of National Consumer Rights Protection (DNCRP) has conducted drives in 31 cities and districts to keep market situation stable.

A total of 52 officers of DNCRP headquarters and district offices led the raids at business houses on Saturday.

A press release of the DNCRP said that on Sunday, adding that the officers found the market situation normal.

Two business entities—Faruki General Store  and Kabir Confectionary at Keraniganj—were fined with Tk 2,000 for not exhibiting price rates and mentioning MRP on product packets.

DNCRP in association with district administration, police, civil surgeons, fisheries officers, representatives of Department of Environment, market officers, sanitary inspectors, representatives of industries and trade associations and members of CAB carried out the drives.
