2 die from fever, breathing problems in two districts

Two persons have died in Sunamganj and Satkhira districts, after suffering from high fevers, colds and breathing complications.

UNB says in Sunamganj: A garment worker who died with fever and cold on Wednesday at a hospital in Gazipur was buried in Mahtabpur village in Tahirpur upazila on Thursday night.

 The deceased was identified as Jahirul, 22, son of Kafil Uddin of Mahtabpur village in Tahirpur upazila.

Jahirul’s family members said he died at a hospital in Gazipur at 7pm on Wednesday after suffering from fever and cough for a week.

In Satkhira: A college student, suffering from fever, cold and respiratory problem, died at his own residence at Narayanpur village in Sadar upazila early Friday.

The deceased was identified as Hasan Ali, 20, a 2nd year student of Jhaudanga College and son of Baharul Islam of the village.

Irad Ali, a member of Balli Union under ward No 6, said Hasan had been suffering from fever, cold, respiratory problem for the last 6-7 days.
