Khulna: Tank-lorry workers called off their strike on Friday morning that disrupted fuel oil supply to 15 districts for two days, reports UNB.

They decided to call off the strike around 11am after a meeting with tank-lorry owners, Khulna Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Helal Uddin and Police Superintendent SM Shafiullah.

All districts in Khulna division and Gopalganj, Faridpur, Shariatpur, Madaripur and Rajbari were affected by the strike.

The workers went on strike on Wednesday morning demanding withdrawal of a case filed against two of their colleagues over a road accident. They withdrew the strike after the district administration assured them of withdrawing the case, DC Helal said.
