KKA nat’l council begins

The two-day national council of the Kendriyo Khelaghar Asar (KKA) began at Shishu Academy in the city on Friday.

The motto of the council is ‘Let us love the country and open the door of peace and happiness, to build a new generation imbued with the spirit of Liberation War’.   

National Professor Dr Anisuzzaman inaugurated the council while Post, Telecommunication and Information Technology Minister Mustafa Jabbar attended the council as the chief guest.

Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr M Akhtaruzzaman attended the council as the special guest.

Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan will attend the closing session of the council today as the chief guest.

Representatives from district, regional and city units of the organisation will participate in the council.

After inception on May 2 in 1952, the organisation is voluntarily working for protecting child rights to unearth the talent of the children.
