DB asked to submit probe report July 23

A Dhaka court on Tuesday asked detectives to submit probe report of the case filed over plotting to abduct and kill Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s son Sajeeb Wazed Joy on July 23.

The Detective Branch (DB) of police was scheduled to submit the probe report to the court on Tuesday.

Judge of Dhaka Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Court Sarafuzzaman Ansari on Tuesday fixed the new date as the detectives failed to submit the report on the day.

Mentionable, accused of the case hatched conspiracy to abduct and kill Joy, also the ICT affairs adviser to the PM, in United States of America in 2011.

The DB in August 2015 filed a General Diary (GD) with Paltan Police Station over the issue. Later, the GD was transferred into a case.
