The government has appointed new deputy commissioners (DCs) to 25 districts.

The Ministry of Public Administration issued a gazette notification in this regard on Monday. 

The districts are: Dhaka, Sylhet, Habiganj, Mymensingh, Magura, Rangpur, Gaibandha, Naogaon, Natore, Cox’s Bazar, Chattogram, Noakhali, Gazipur, Cumilla, Moulvibazar, Khulna, Gopalganj, Faridpur, Sherpur, Sherpur, Kushtia, Jhenaidah, Pabna, Bogura, Joypurhat and Chandpur. 

Earlier on 20 August, the deputy commissioners of these districts were withdrawn.
