The trailer of Ziaul Faruq Apurba-starrer web series “Golam Mamun” unveiled on Sunday at a ceremony held at Krishibid Institution Bangladesh (KIB) auditorium in the capital.  

Actors Ziaul Faruq Apurba, Sabila Nur, Imtiaz Barshon and director Shihab Shaheen, among others, were present on the trailer launching ceremony.  

Ziaul Faruq Apurba, renowned for his immersive portrayal of characters, showcases his exceptional talent in “Golam Mamun” as the titular character, setting the stage for an extraordinary performance. Joining him is a stellar ensemble cast, featuring Sabila Nur as Rahi in the series, who has captivated audience with her nuanced performances, effortlessly bringing characters to life with her depth and finesse and Imtiaz Barshon as Robin whose versatility and charisma have earned him accolades, establishing him as a beloved figure in Bangladeshi entertainment, revered for his memorable portrayals across various mediums.

Apurba shared his enthusiasm for the release, stating, “Golam Mamun is very different from what I’m normally seen in, and the trailer is just a small glimpse of what’s to come. While I can’t reveal much before the show streams on hoichoi, I can say that audiences will love how Golam Mamun’s story unfolds.”

Sabila Nur is quite excited about her role in the series. She said, “I had to put in a lot of effort for the character of Rahi. There are some action scenes here that I have never done before. I hope when the audience watches the series, they can feel that.”

Directed by Shihab Shaheen, “Golam Mamun” will be streaming on OTT platform hoichoi from 13 June onwards.
