Fire breaks out at 18-storey building in Gulshan

A fire broke out on the eighth floor of 18-storey AWR Tower in the capital’s Gulshan-1 on Saturday.

Firefighters were alerted to the incident around 4:20pm, according to the media cell of the Fire Service and Civil Defence.

Three firefighting units are working to douse the blaze, it added.
