The 46th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) preliminary examination will be held on 26 April.

The decision came from a special meeting of Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC), according to an official.

The test will be held in Dhaka, Rajshahi, Chattogram, Khulna, Barishal, Sylhet, Rangpur, and Mymensingh centres simultaneously.

The detailed information about the exam venues, seat plans, and other instructions will be learned from the BPSC website : www.bpsc.gov.bd and the Teletalk Bangladesh Ltd. website http://bpsc.teletalk.com.bd. 

The 46th BCS preliminary exam was earlier scheduled for March 9 this year. The BPSC also issued a notification to this end.

The schedule of the examination was changed due to city corporation polls.

The BPSC announced the circular for the 46th BCS, seeking applications for 3,140 posts. Some 3,38,000 candidates have submitted their applications for the examination.
