IU students formed human-chain protesting killing of children

The students of Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia today formed a human chain here protesting the killing of children across the country.

Law and Muslim Jurisprudence Department of the university organized the programme.

Law and Muslim Jurisprudence Department Chairman Prof Dr Shajahan Mondal, teachers of the same department Prof Dr Reba Mondal, Assistant Prof Anisur Rahman and Rehana Parvin spoke, reports BSS.

Students of different departments of the university attended the human chain.

The speakers called for immediate stopping of the killing of children across the country. They demanded to find out the killers of Rakib, Rajon, Najim and Rabiul and take punitive steps against them.

Earlier, the students of various departments brought out a procession protesting the killing of children in front of law faculty and was terminated at the main gate after parading the campus.
