Jahangirnagar University (JU) Cultural Alliance formed a 12-member new executive committee for the 2022-23 session.

Showmik Bagchi of Jahangirnagar Theatre (auditorium) and Sami Al Jahid Pritom of Dhoni have been elected as president and general secretary of the committee. 

Outgoing president of the organisation Dipankar Chakravorty and general secretary Sohanur Gazi Moon announced the new committee through a press release on Saturday.

The other members of the committee are- vice presidents Ariful Islam and Oishi Tanjim, joint secretary Prapti Taposhi, treasurer Shoron Ahsan, office secretary Omor Faruk Banna, publicity and publication secretary Saddam Hossain Rohan, and executive members Samia Islam Anika, Rafat Mahmud and Abdur Rahman Nahid.
