President’s wife stresses women's advanced capability to face challenges

President M Abdul Hamid's wife Rashida Khanam said the women need to acquire more capability and efficiency to confront the challenges of the 21st century. 

The president's spouse said this while addressing the students at the inaugural function of the newly constructed "First Lady Rashida Hamid Chhatri Nibas" of Government Rotary College at Ashtagram here.

Highlighting various activities of the incumbent government led by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for expansion of education, especially for the development of female education, she said the ratio of women education in the country has tremendously increased.

Rashida Khanam also mentioned that the girls are advancing in all sectors including education, social and cultural fields.

She hoped that the girls will lead the country at national and international levels by making themselves more efficient and capable.

Local lawmaker Rezwan Ahammad Taufiq, college principal Mostafa Arif Khan, local people's representatives and senior officials concerned, among others, were present on the occasion.
