A Bangladeshi expatriate was beaten to death by unidentified miscreants at Brixton of Johannesburg in South Africa on Tuesday morning.
The deceased was identified as Abdul Haque, 30, son of Rafique Ullah, hailing from Mirwarispur village in Begumganj upazila of Noakhali.
According to the victim's family, a group of miscreants called him and took him to a lone place inside a nearby school on Tuesday morning. Later, the miscreants beaten him to death.
Upon receiving the news, Brixton police recovered the body and took it to the police station.
