Global coronavirus death toll climbs to 757,440

A total of  757,440 people died from coronavirus worldwide in the  213 countries and territories since the virus emerged in Wuhan of China last December, according to latest data from worldometer.

 

So far, 21,068,345 coronavirus cases have been detected at 10:30 am till Friday (04:30 am GMT). Of them, 13,917,959 patients have been considered recovered, the source said.

 

Apart from this, the number of active cases are 6,392,946.

 

With the new tally in the 24-hour, 10,182 patients died of  coronavirus while 261,377 infections have been diagnosed, and 211,271   patients have made fully recovery.

 

Among the coronavirus affected countries, the US has gone up to 170,415 deaths, followed by Brazil with 105,564, Mexico 55,293, India 48,144, Italy 35,231, France 30,388, Iran 19,192, Russia 15,384, Indonesia 5,968 and Saudi Arabia 3,303 respectively, worldometer reported.
