Two ‘drug peddlers’ killed in Cox’s Bazar ‘gunfight’

Two suspected drug peddlers were killed in a reported gunfight with police at Combonia Par area of Teknaf in Cox’s Bazar early Tuesday.

The deceased were identified as Saddam Hossain, 20, son of late Sultan Ahammed and Abdul Jalil, 30, son of Ali Ahammed.

Confirming the news, Pradip Kumar Das, officer-in-charge of Teknaf Model police station, said three members of law enforcers also injured in the gunfight.
