Coronavirus: Global death toll crosses 27,000

The global death toll of coronavirus has climbed to 27,441 till Saturday.

A total of 601,526 people have been infected and 133,454 people have been recovered worldwide in the disease, worldometer reported.

The coronavirus Covid-19 has affected all 195 countries in the world. A total of 199 countries and territories and two international conveyances: the Diamond Princess cruise ship harbored in Yokohama, Japan, and the Holland America's MS Zaandam cruise ship have been affected in the deadly disease.

 

In Italy, 86,498 people have been infected in the disease. Of the 86,498 people, 9,134 people have died and 10,950 people have been recovered. Active cases are 66,414.

In China, 81,394 people have been infected in the disease. Among 81,394 people, 3,295 died and 74,971 have been recovered. Active cases are 3,128.

In Spain, 65,719 people have been infected in the disease. Among 65,719 people, 5,138 have died and 9,357 people have been recovered. Active cases are 51,224.

In USA, 104,256 people have been infected in the disease. Among 104,256 people, 1,704 people have died and 2,525 people have been recovered. Active cases are 100,027.

In UK, 14,543 people have been infected in the disease. Among 14,543 people, 759 people died and 135 people have been recovered. Active cases are 13,649.

In India, 908 people have been infected in the disease. Among 902 people, 20 people died and 83 people have been recovered. Active cases are 794.

In Bangladesh, 48 people have been infected in the disease. Among 48 people, five people have died and 15 people have been recovered. Active cases are 28.

In Australia, 3,635 people have been affected in the disease. Of them, 14 have died and 170 have been recovered. Active cases are 3451.
