The results of 1,586 students, who appeared at HSC and equivalent examinations this year under Dhaka Education Board, have been changed after re-examining.
Of them, a total of 289 students passed the examinations afresh while 145 received GPA 5.The Dhaka Education Board published the results of 1,686 HSC examinees of the board after re-examining their answer sheets on Friday.
Manjurul Kabir, Senior System Analyst of the board, said, “A total of 52,984 applied for rechecking of their answer sheets this year. Of them, 1,586 students have experienced changes in their CGPAs, 289 passed and 145 received GPA 5 anew.”
On July 17, the results this year’s Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and its equivalent examinations were published.
A total of 9,88,172 students passed the exams out of 13, 36, 629 appeared from 10 education boards, including Madrasa Education Board and Technical Education Board.
The combined pass rate of all the 10 education boards is 73.93 percent, and a total of 47,286 students obtained GPA (grade point average)-5 this year.
