HSC examinee ‘commits suicide’ in Dinajpur

An examinee allegedly committed suicide jumping in front of a running train on Wednesday noon after failing to pass this year's Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examinations, reports UNB.

The deceased was identified as Nakul Kumar, 18, son of Akil Chandra Sarkar of Ananda Bazar in Parbatipur upazila. Nakul appeared in the examinations from Bhawanipur College.

Israfil Islam, assistant station master of Phulbari Railway Station, said Nakul jumped in front of Dhaka-bound 'Lalmoni Express' train at noon and died on the spot.
