The results of this year's Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and its equivalent examinations, held under ten educational boards, will be published on July 17, a national daily reports.
On condition of anonymity, a high official of Education Ministry disclosed the information with a reporter of the daily on Monday.The official said, chairmen of ten education boards will hand over the synopsis of the results to the prime minister at her official residence Ganabhaban at 10:00am on the same date and she will make formal announcement of the results.
Later, the details of the result will be announced by education minister in a press conference.
A total of 13,51,505 examinees from ten educational boards took part in the examinations this year. Of the total candidates, 6,64,496 are male and 6,87,9 female.
Some 78,451 appeared in the examinations from madrasa board while 1,24,265 students under technical institutions this year.
