Two constables closed for ‘drug trading’

MUNSHIGANJ: Two police constables of Bhaberchar Highway Police camp have been closed to the district police lines for their alleged involvement in drug trading, reports UNB.

The accused are Constable Arif, 28 and Constable Mamun, 27.

Acting on secret information, a team of Rab-10 conducted a drive at a house in Bhaberchar College Road area of Gazaria upazila on Monday and arrested a woman Nupur along with 5,200 pieces of Yaba tablets and Tk 2.80 lakh cash, said Ali Reza Rabbi, company commander of Rab-10 CPSC.

Nupur confessed to the elite force that the two constables have been involved in Yaba trading.
